Tino Discovers the First Dentist

“Hello, adventurers!” said Tino while adjusting his little round glasses and holding his glowing magical map.

“Today we are going on an AMAZING journey!”

Suddenly…

POOOF!

A golden portal appeared right in the middle of Tino’s explorer room.

Tiny sparkles floated through the air while the magical map started spinning by itself.

“Our magical portal is ready!” Tino cheered excitedly.

He took a deep breath and jumped inside.

When Tino opened his eyes…

Everything looked different.

The ground was covered in golden sand.

Warm desert winds gently blew around him.

And right in front of him… giant pyramids stretched toward the sky!

“WOW!” shouted Tino.

“I made it to Ancient Egypt!”

As Tino walked through the desert, he spotted a gigantic statue.

It had the body of a lion and the face of a human.

“That’s the famous Sphinx!” Tino explained happily.

The ancient Egyptians loved building enormous monuments.

They were also incredibly smart and made many amazing discoveries.

But Tino had come for a very special reason… to learn about one of the first dentists in history!

Inside an ancient temple lit by glowing torches, Tino discovered drawings of teeth on the walls.

“Did you know the ancient Egyptians cared about their teeth thousands of years ago?” he asked.

Long ago, people already understood that tooth pain could be a huge problem.

That is why special healers helped people care for their teeth.

Many historians believe one of the first dentists in history lived in Ancient Egypt!

“That’s AMAZING!” said Tino.

Ancient Egyptian dentists used tools very different from the ones we use today.

Some tools were made from metal.

Others were made from stone.

And some even looked like tiny sharp thorns!

“Ouch…” said Tino nervously.

“I think I would be a little scared!”

Still, those ancient dentists tried their best to help people feel better.

And here’s another fun fact…

The ancient Egyptians also tried to clean their teeth every day!

They mixed herbs, salt, leaves, and crushed plants to create an early form of toothpaste.

“Hmm…” Tino said while smelling the strange mixture.

“This smells a little funny…”

Even so, the Egyptians believed it helped keep their teeth clean.

Some historians also believe they used special chewing sticks to scrub their teeth.

A very early version of a toothbrush!

“My modern toothbrush looks MUCH more comfortable!” Tino laughed.

As Tino explored deeper inside the temple, he discovered drawings of smiling pharaohs.

“Even pharaohs had to care for their teeth!” he explained.

Pharaohs were the kings and queens of Ancient Egypt.

They wore beautiful jewelry, fancy clothing, and lived in enormous palaces.

But even kings needed healthy teeth!

That shows how important brushing teeth has always been.

Tino grabbed his magical toothbrush and quickly brushed his teeth.

SHINE!

His smile sparkled brightly.

“Brushing your teeth every day helps keep your smile healthy and strong!” said Tino proudly.

Suddenly, the magical portal began appearing once again.

Tiny golden stars floated through the air.

“I guess it’s time to go home…”

Tino looked one last time at the giant pyramids.

“Goodbye, Ancient Egypt! That was an incredible adventure!”

A few seconds later…

Tino was back inside his explorer room.

But now he had learned something very important: taking care of your teeth is an idea that has existed for thousands of years!

“Until our next adventure around the world, smile adventurers!” Tino waved happily.

And before the portal completely disappeared, he shouted:
